"Home" will not be free.

What will be free is the ability to create a 3D avatar, walk around to various areas for shopping, visiting developer areas to preview games, things of that nature. But I'm strongly begining to believe that Sony will charge a fee to buy a "Home", and all the furnishings that you want in it. Sure if you want a bigger "Home" than, like in real life, it'll cost you a little more.

Looks like I'm destined to be a bum in Sony's virtual world cause I've already got a

Maybe I'll find an abandoned "home", and make it my home sweet home.

You will get a standard "Home" to begin with and some furnitures and accessories will be free. Of course Sony will be charging for some items and a bigger home, but that's expected.

I'm 100% sure that you'll get some sort of starter home and you can buy fancier ones.

Go ahead, I'll let you try again with something a little more intelligent rather than just "yeah whatever bill gates....".

I'm about 50% sure of your assumption myself, but if you're willing to point me to where I can be 100% sure like yourself, that would be great, since nothing has been said about it.

To be completely honest, I really could give three, maybe four flying pigs about home. That's why if what I'm thinking is true, than I'll choose to be "home"less. I was just looking at the new scans, and thought I would create this thread to yap about it.

Let's make a ban bet. If Sony gives us a free Home to start out with then you'll get ban and if they don't then I'll get ban.

I'd have no problem paying just as long as the price is right.  Im sure though with all the advertising that is going to be pooring into Home if it takes off like they hope, we won't need to pay dime for anything....

I imagine they'll give everyone a small base to start off in. There will probably be bigger spaces available for money and you may be able to win some new furnishing and whatnot through certain games. The problem is it kind of sounds to me like home is going to make launching games with your friends a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Hopefully we can all see for ourselves before Christmas.

Why do I even bother....

It's already confirmed you start off with a free crappy home, and free crappy furniture.

If you want, you can buy a bigger Home, buy cooler look furniture and clothes.

OR you can unlock furniture via trophies.
