Anybody here have it?
Im not sure if I should pick this game up. I really wanted a strategy game for my consoles but Im not into Turn based games too much.
I heard its addictive. I tried the Demo but only took like 20 min on it and it wasnt too bad, I know u cant judge a game by its demo with something like this.

What do you think about it and do you recommend it?

I wasted so many hours on Civ 2 on the PC many moons ago, this one game me the same feelings I had with that onet. I just had time to play through one game but it is a worthy purchase imho, I love it. And it is a great console Civ game.

Like you, i dont like turn based games. Even the demo annoyed me with 'press b to skip to next turn' and you have to press it constantly to keep the game moving. Kind of annoying.

The best strategy game ive played on my 360 is Command & Conquer.

I really need a damn strategy game, i dont know why I just havent played one since Age of Empires.
And the only thing turning me off of this game is that its turn based.
Montrealien, did the game take long to get used to and do yout hink I could get over the fact that its turn based.

its utter crap, you can't do half the things you can in the other Civs, you can't control the workers, the world is tiny, the A.I. is stupid, there is less then half the techs that were in Civ4, and its almost impossible to win by anything other then military

yes I noticed there is not much customization playing the demo.
Basically you pick the germans and go for a military victory which is easiest.

Too much boobs for me. It's a really stripped down version of Civilization. It lacks the complexities found in previous Civ games.
