Most of you know that MS are planning to release its on wii like controller but one thing i noticd when watching the Tiger Woods demonstration is there is no wrist straps on it...some people might not be careless but imagine one of your lil kids next to your brand new HDTV..what happens next is really upto them but i can say its not going to be nice when you find out.

Have a look at this vid correct me if am wrong but there is no safety on that...i expect some suing soon

im sure they will have them. They will have seen that nintendo had to give out stronger wrist straps to early adopters.

I still dont understand why people actually think this is the 360s motion controller, Microsoft have their own entire hardware peripheral division, it would be highly unlikely that they would outsource such a thing to a small company like that

How FPS worthy is this controller... My verdict, not very.

And that's what's going to keep a massive segment of the market from buying it.

I don't see this being used much unless its bundled with a game.

QFT. Microsoft likes their control.

Perfect!
As for FPS'ing with this thing I assume they'll be releasing a gun mount or something like the wii zapper or piranha. It will probably mount as the barrel or sight. Just a guess...

This is true. Still Microsoft will have a motion controller.

Microsoft outsources all the time.; For example, the first generation Zune is a barely disguised Toshiba Gigabeat.
