Status: online 		Sony might have a rough idea about what has gone wrong with the 2.40 update, they might not. But I'm not here to complain or laugh, I think we should actually do something useful with our time on the forums and do some research.

Simply put, if you have the 2.40 update, which console version do you have, which region do you live in, and which problems (if any) have you experienced. If everything is working fine, post that as well.

We might see some patterns emerging. Here's mine:

60GB model. In the UK. No problems yet.

    Status: offline     		80 gig, American system.  SSHD seems to take longer to start-up then it used to.  No other problems than that.

    My PS3 has frozen in general but there isn't anything wrong with it, per se.

    Status: online     		60 gig North American system. Bought it almost exactly one year ago. I've played some UT3 and the SSHD and Hot Shots Golf demos since updating. No problems whatsoever. I think I'm lucky because I never seem to have the issues others have with their systems except for Assassin's Creed lock-ups.

    It's probably nothing serious.  It just takes a few seconds longer for the game to start.  I can live with that.  I can still get trophies, so I'm happy.
