What facts are these then?
You list Crysis, but, Crysis (bar the graphics) was a ho-hum shooter with poor AI, stupid story and little else.
No one bought Crysis for the gameplay.
You obviously have not played crysis. It was well above an average game. They are making it a sequel and have already made a spin off game, they are also not milking it, plenty was left unsaid, the game offered many tactical options, you could go stealth of full on combat, the ai was good, but had it's glitches, They respond to grenades, they flank you when they hear fire, they send up flares for re-enforcement when they need it, they will grab mounted guns or get in vehicles, or jump out and run when the vehicle is on fire, the a.i was awesome.
I have played crysis a lot more than other games because of it's replay-ability as you can approach combat completely differently each time, and the open world allows to to see or bypass different areas.
The main complaint about it was the heavy graphical requirements, but more than 2 years on it's still the best looking pc game, and in another 2 years when the hardware has caught up, everyone can play it as was intended, and they will realise that not only was it an amazing game in itself, but that even in 2 years it will still hold it's own graphically
