who needs a video guide? like really.. pop the cover off, remove the blue screw, remove the drive repace the casing pop the drive back in, screw the blue back in and pop the cover back on
simple, but.. if you want to do what i suggested to KEVERS

Where would you be paying $180 for 120gb?!  I assume at b&m retail stores like Best Buy.  Pricewatch lists a 320gb for $95, a 250gb for $67, and a 160gb for $52.  These are all 5400rpm drives tho.  $110 for a 7200rpm 320gb 2.5" isn't too shabby at all.

I think the biggest 2.5" laptop hard drive you can get is 500GB unless you can bigger ones now.

a 2.5 inch sata laptop hard drive ahs the same connections as a 3.5 inch sata hard drive, so theoretically its very possible to hook up an unlimited amount of storage

Are the hard drive SATA and power cables inside the PS3 long enough to extend outside of the housing to allow you to place the hard drive outside of the console?

there are no power cables inside, it just plugs directly itno it, so you get a sata power cable withfemale and male ends and a sata cable and voila

Beautiful.  I may consider ghetto-rigging my PS3 w/ a humongous 3.5" drive later on, but I'll keep it neat and tidy for now so Syko doesn't clown on me
