Status: online 		If you're a PS3 fan that is. Why? Simple, this will put pressure on Sony to develop/secure more JRPG's. The Tokyo Game Show is going to be one hell of a battle between Microsoft and Sony for JRPG's.

Status: online 		as we all know i love my ps3,but i do yhink they need to do a price drop-it's too pricey,compared to xbox.
and i do like my xbox too.

Status: offline 		if i were a dev, i think they both have pretty solid install bases at this point so it would be worthwhile to dev for each.... i know that its better for the console if they get exclusives but i dont see why one of the two needs to "win"?

im stoked for the games that are due to come out though, thats for sure!

    Status: offline     		I believe that the PS3 need more than a price drop, it need some RPGs , lets put my example , i got a PS1, then a PS2 then i got the PS3 , and then wait, wait , wait and no RPGs, i was starving , i saw a 360 and i got it and finally RPGs for me, also the exclusives helps a lot, the 360 have nice ones and the PS3 is losing them.. i don't know what could help Sony at this point. I do hope they do well, and LBP will sure help. Well this is what i think and sorry for my english

    Status: offline     		i agree with that, especially for the RPG fans.... personally im not into them but they always have been a staple in the ps3's line of success and they seemed to have neglected them this time....

    i think a price cut is a must, a significant one too.... i think its in their best interest to make the 40 gig no more than $239 the new 80 @299 and then the 160 @399 would be fine in my opinion.... they would sell in hoards if they did that and it wouldnt even be close

    You do know that Sony specializes in other electronics right? They can easily recoup their losses.

    either way, the profit from games will well balance any loss.... the money is made in games, not consoles so its really not a big deal, plus at the end of the year its a huge tax rightoff to have that giant investment loss

    I have a PS3. It isn't going to change the sales figures though. 360 is too cheap now. Even Japan is taking notice.

    They were supposedly  breaking even with the 40GB
    And if the 80GB uses the 65nm RSX, they should be making a profit now
