Well i guess its convenient that GT5 Prolough, MGO beta, and GTAIV are dropping in april then.. big uh oh if 360 continues thei 5k console advantage in april

i have the consoles i want so why should i care about who sold what? thats their problem, im sure both businesses are doing just fine!!!

good for MS. and good for Sony the last two months. its a so called "console war". you win some you lose some in "war". the 360 is the king of the HD generation of consoles right now. the Wii...well its the wierd cousin no one wants to admit is part of the family. as long as the games i want to play are released...im happy.

i only look at numbers for the interest of the business strategies of the companies. not for a fanboy agenda.

5000 isn't that much of a difference but anyone who says this wasn't surprising is lying through their teeth(or Keyboard in this case)

And it's in NA where the 360 has been consistently outselling the PS3 since it's inception(aside from the past 2 months I think).

could i just point out that it is only north america, in europe ps3 is outselling xbox 3-1 and japan its nearly 7-1

5000 is not much and I still think PS3 is doing well but on the software front it is really bad.

I was thinking about why PS3 games are not doing so well but the Wii and 360 and this is the best I could come up with.

Wii: The older generation 35-60 years old(no offence) are getting Wiis. My local Retirement home have 5 Wiis and they recently had a collection to get 3 more Wiis and 7 Wii fits when they are released. But they only have these two games. I appaude nintendo for getting more people into gaming but not when dire games like Cooking Mamma sells over other games.

360: There are many reasons why 360 software is selling some if fair but other is not. It has become increasingly ovious as most of my friends have 360s and I am the only one who doesn't. MY friends are buying any game under the sun to increase there gamer score and use it to brag. They buy games play them until they milked it for points and get rid of it. THey hate RPGs with a passion and they hated Mass Effect but I was it in there collection and I asked why you have buy it and they said for the points.

Don't get me wrong there are others I know that play for the fun with the online but they have only a few games like 6 since launch.

PS3:
For me has great games I have 13 at the moment and I enjoy them all. I nearer was interested in the big games like GTA4, GT and MGS4 and we will need to see how they sell over the next few months.

What a joke... whatever happens between PS3 and the 360... Wii wins.
Why are the sales of a console affecting people so much? Imagine if people would brag about how many toothbrushes they own sold :/
Buy the bloody console that suits you the best for whatever reason, buy the game you think/know is good for you, go home and enjoy.
