Status: offline 		does anyone know where to buy or if samsung released the 500gb 2.5 hard drive? ive been holding out since i heard about this

Status: offline 		Im not sure if its available yet.. ive heard only a 320 gb drive is being made that can be installed in a ps3.. but im sure its coming soon enough.

Status: offline 		im just usin the samsung 320gig and i'm going to order a 1TB external shortly to back it up and hold my stuff, but the 320 really is plenty for now

    Status: offline     		Yeah im still waiting for the 500GB 2.5 as well. I was going to get a 320GB WD but i decided to hold out when their was a press release from both Toshiba and Samsung saying they were bringing it out FEB 2008........
    Im still waiting................
    Yes 320 is plenty but i wanna be storing all my divx's nice and neat on their. (plus playTV is coming)

    Seagate, Hitachi, and Samsung all have theirs out on the market just google "500GB SATA 2.5". Or you could get a normal sized 1TB get a external case mod it for use with a male to female sata cable and put it outside the ps3.

    Status: offline     		Turns out the PS3 has far fewer compatibility problems with media when it's streamed from a PC and you can usually transcode any files it doesn't like on the fly. I figured that out after I installed my 250 gig HD. Seems a tad unnecessary now.

    Tversity is awesome. I download most of my media is under Linux for safety reasons so I use mediatomb mostly, but Tversity is bomb for anyone who runs windows.

    Status: offline     		I have four of those damn 1Tb HDDs... They're annoying because it almost becomes an obsession to try to fill them up with stuff. Useful stuff, as well, not random crap downloaded for the sake of it. All I know is that I filled one of 'em completely with just TV shows.

    I'm still waiting for the day that Sega and Nintendo decide to **** over Sony and Microsoft by getting together and creating a superconsole. Not even Sony can defeat Mario and Sonic.

    Well... I think Thundercats, Heroes, The Sarah Conner Chronicles, Firefly, Friends, Criminal Minds, CSI (and the rest) are very useful. They're useful because they entertain me.

    Status: offline     		What an eclectic collection. When I went back and watched Thundercats for nostalgia's sake I couldn't get past the terrible animation, ridiculous acting and ludicrous story. It's still better than this Beyblade **** kids watch now I guess.

    Now He-Man and She-Ra, those were some awesome shows.

    We're not off topic here at all...
