they could choose the 3 best features from all of them and combine them .

let me know what your ideas would be .

I know there is good one...

I still find myself almost wanting just one TOP NOTCH piece of hardware and then the DEVS fight it out... Instead of the Console Makers.

Another good reason would be that the dev's wouldn't have to worry about changing anything to make the game run right and look right. No issues at all.

But...competition is better for all the companies. I have to agree with that.

Hmm I guess I'd take BluRay, Live, and space saving tech, built in speakers on the controler, Virtual Console, Pointer control (for awesome fps control and point and click adventures) rumble and motion controls as well, and a standard headset.

I agree with this.  Without competition nobody would have the drive to do more.  We would not see many improvements in games without it.  It would be like MS Windows for gamers.  LOL.

Status: online 		Lol fanboys are a plague. They cannot be killed with a one console future. They may be set back a yr or two but they will adapt and next you will david jaffe fanboys, hideo kojima fanboys, ea fanboys (Believe me they exist).

Status: offline 		The most damaging thing would for gamers would be a one console system I would not buy the system and would try to convince others and set up website and put my time and effort in to not getting this...

It just won't work, and if it did... it would be a disservice to gamers (not to mention games).

Status: offline 		nah i hate the idea of A one console world cause that mean there would ne be no exclusives and everything would  be the same no bragging rights for having the better system and everybody would only be able to play ea games and we would have the rrod on every system cause of the xbox.
