Status: offline 		I think that all shooters should have customization, from character to guns. That would be awsome. The best games that have them already are MGS4, Rainbow 6, Socom, and Army of Two. People may say Call of Duty but COD doesn't have customization to the extent that the other games that I mentioned do. Customization makes the game more fun.

Do you guys agree or disagree with me?

Status: online 		I disagree. Just make the combat fun, balanced and varied, and the maps great. That's all that matters.

Status: offline 		Customization in a console game is not all that important to me.  Now, PC games on the other hand, for me at least, have to be customizable.  I can't stand using WASD for movement.

The rest of the game brings back bad memories.

But I was impressed with the contol customisation, every FPS should allow this.

I actually prefer to use Q and E for the strafe.  I still use W and S for forward and back.  I just don't like using A and D.  Minor changes I know, but I feel better using it my way.

I think the OP meant customization for characters and weapons. Not controller customizations

Status: offline 		Sorry, misread the post.  Customization for characters and such detracts from the story.  Instead of the dialog having a characters name or cutscenes with the characters interacting, you get a general statement.  Kinda pulls me out of the story.  I like having set characters.  For example, I'm in the middle of playing Crackdown right now.  Anyone that's played it knows that you can choose your character from a set in the menu.  The problem with this is the damn narrator calling me agent all the time.  How about calling me Bob, or some other equally real name?

Status: offline 		Yea i wish you can customize the character in CoD4 online thatll be badass walking around with a Osama Bid ladin beard with a Turbin and terrorist robes, or as the Americans wear a tank top with some came shorts a bandana and shades with tattoos and piercings

Status: offline 		Customization as in controls, game settings, and "perks" are important to me.

Customization as in looks, not so much (might be some exceptions, but I can't think of any - Maybe BF Heroes, since it's all sillly lookin'?)

Yeah, that's what I would do too, except I usually played WoW on PC, and my PTT for vent wast Ctrl, which made esdf uncomfortable lol.
