ORIGINAL: Crazyglues Well you can count me out, I would never pay for a beta. Just seems like MADNESS!! what's next, having to pay for signing in to the Playstation network. Only $2 dollars a month. Next they will start charging for Rumble support in your game... If you want rumble buy the download for $2 dollars after you get the game. I thought Microsoft was suppose to be the one charging for everything. Thanks but no thanks.. Before I'll start supporting paying for everything you do on the net on PS3, I'll just go back to paying on my Xbox 360. Sony is suppose to be the free network. -There was once upon a time when that was one of their biggest selling points. Wow talk about ignorance. I can't believe people still are clueless about what Qore even is. As DrPirate said earlier, paying to get access into betas/demos is not a new thing, at all. quote:

ORIGINAL: DrPirate This practice has been going on for decades. Fileplanet subscription to get into betas, Gamespy and IGN subscriptions to get into betas, Crackdown to get into Halo 3 beta, Zone of the Enders to get MGS2 demo, and this is just like that except cheaper than a fileplanet account or Crackdown/Zone of the Enders. Exactly, this is no different, but via PSN / online... Plus this is the same as the PS Underground subscriptions to magazines and exclusive info, similar to that.. This has nothing to do with the PlayStation Network. Its not even BY Sony! Its by Future Networks, who are responsible for (well, affiliated with this site), GR, and countless big magazines. Qore is just an online magazine, exclusive trailers/videos/interviews etc, exclusive betas, and even demos/themes. It's cheaper then any other way in the past people would get into betas. And its way cheaper then a magazine, plus its interactive. Not just a video... The network is still free genius, this is just a service within the network, like a TV show, a magazine, etc. Jesus people, its like people are thinking PSN is now 50 bucks a year.
