Anyone else getting it? Not really interested in the program...but i will still watch it

but i need access into LBP, Socom, KZ2 and R2 beta. It sucks i have to pay but 25 bucks a yr shouldn't be so bad. Maybe i should be cautious and only pay for one month...It will be irritating to pay monthly (to me anyway). I would much rather pay it one time and get it over with

I'm getting it as well.
$25/yr is justifiable for V.I.P access to betas and demos.

I'm getting it. I'm just going to buy this months alone this time. I may subscribe later. I think beta invites are in individual episodes. So you don't have to subscribe to get beta invites but it would be much cheaper to subscribe. I just don't have enough PSN funds to subscribe right now. I will at a later time.

Boondocks is an awesome show by the way.

I'm open to buying an issue. I'm not sure about the subscription yet, as I have no gauge of content.

I keep hearing people list all these betas, particularly LBP. Seems a bit overblown. There's basically no confirmation that'll happen, right? In fact, no confirmation at the mo except Socom?

LBP would mean an automatic buy for me and a lot of others, I'm sure...

two things

1. the only reason qore is worth it are the betas you can get into which is why i like it, everything else i dont think anyone would really care about and could wait for. And everyone slagging it and acting like it will lead to us paying for online play are being delusional and that's being nice.

2. they should have just named it Q the one letter by itself and maybe gone with a marketing strategy of Q from james bond you know like your getting the latest and greatest insider news and offers

Well you can count me out, I would never pay for a beta.

Just seems like MADNESS!! what's next, having to pay for signing in to the Playstation network. Only $2 dollars a month. Next they will start charging for Rumble support in your game... If you want rumble buy the download for $2 dollars after you get the game.

I thought Microsoft was suppose to be the one charging for everything.

Thanks but no thanks.. Before I'll start supporting paying for everything you do on the net on PS3, I'll just go back to paying on my Xbox 360. Sony is suppose to be the free network. -There was once upon a time when that was one of their biggest selling points.

Same here.

This really doesn't bother me anyway, I see it like this:

Americans with Qore is like having Gold membership
Americans without Qore is like having Sliver membership (while obviously still being able to play games online)
Europeans generally is like having a Bronze membership (Everything late or not at all - Oblivion expansion I'm looking at you)

actually i agree with everything you said. paying sucks!!!
i dunno, if i have to pay $2 just to get into the LBP beta i would, but only for that episode, if that's even allowed.
otherwise i would't pay for anytihng.
when i get my 360 i'm never, and i mean never going to get a gold account.
if PSN starts having us pay then goodbye MP for me. lol.

I wouldn't either. I'd pay for the online mag, and if it happened to include the beta, so much the better.

I find the ideas people have about this interesting. Like they'll pre-order and basically pay for a beta (even if they don't charge more than retail, they're still using your money for an extended period and gaining interest), but they won't stop to consider that a beta might, on top of a lot of other good content within the mag, add up to a cheap proposition that has nothing to do with PSN. I find it particularly interesting because so many games this gen have been beta quality.

We're so scared that sony will learn that people will *shock* pay for video game related content.

Wait I still do not understand this, my friend told me that when Quore comes out I have to start paying for demos and that stuff, is this true? because I will call HUGE SHENANIGANS.

Wow talk about ignorance. I can't believe people still are clueless about what Qore even is.

As DrPirate said earlier, paying to get access into betas/demos is not a new thing, at all.

Jesus people, its like people are thinking PSN is now 50 bucks a year.

No, you just have to pay for that u that you slipped in. Just like there's no "I" in team, there's no "u" in Qore. :p

I doubt Sony's going to make people pay for the best marketing tool they have.
