That thinks its a little strange and slightly OCDish that someone would save an email from a friend of theirs to use against them if things turned sour?

This actually happened to a friend of mine on You Tube. He was involved with a very shady bunch of people and they were backstabbing him constantly behind his back. Do people normally act this way on You Tube? I would be afraid to give anyone my personal email address because of this.

Obsessive Compulsive... Its a disorder that makes you save stuff or check things repeatedly...

hrmm... i don't think it's OCD to keep emails if they are of any sentiment.
but to use it against someone later down the line is childish.

yep. these people that "my friend" associated with on YT were quite bizarre and abnormal.
