With the new annoucement of Diablo 3, I'll bet many people are filled with joy unfortunatley it just reminded me how much I absolutley hated Diablo II.

Is there anyone who feels that way also? Or am I just crazy

Well D2 is the only RPG I recall enjoying when I played it. So no, I'm not in the same boat as you at all

i was never a diablo fan so i dont care much about any of them...and my lack of RPG games on the ps3 is making my love for the genre start to die...hopefully when folklore and Brave Story get in they will revive it.

You're probably not the only one who hates it, but you're probably also part of a minority. Diablo II and a few other games like Starcraft and the original Half Life are some of the only games that stand the test of time for me. I could play them all now and have just as much fun as playing any new game.

Thank various gods I'm not alone.
I tried playing Diablo 2 recently, and I didn't like it at all. I really want to like it, and I'm trying but it's no use. I'll probably end up getting Diablo 3 anyway. It looked cool, but it all depends on how it controls.

I tried sooooo hard to like Diablo but it just never stuck with me. I played 1 and 2 but never was able to finish them. I was too wrapped up in FF7 so that was probably most of the reason I never had interest for the game. But I am looking forward to Diablo 3 so I can't wait for it to come out..... Who knows, maybe 3 will make me want to take a trip back to memory lane so I can actually finish them...

That announcement will only be beaten (for the Blizzard followers) with a WoW2.

Personally I'm happy its on the way, but don't see the big hooha. Now Baldur's Gate 3, THAT would be awesome beyond belief.
