Maddens Raiders, along with Bloodmask, and of course me, are one of the few remaining members who saw the pre-2007 E3   N4G era. In case you didn't know, the 2007 E3  was the turning point when N4G changed from a die-hard 360 fansite to the now-infamous Sony fanboy site.

I'm glad that Maddens joined the forums community of N4G after fighting in the fanboy trenches last year.  However, due to his reputation, his "old enemies" weren't exactly too warm in his arrival here.  However, I'm glad that things have changed for the better, now that even his old nemesis from the fanboy trenches, Bloodmask, sees him as fellow friend.

This kind of stuff brings tears into my eyes...

    What can I say....

He was one of the few BATTLING against the mighty Green Robots when N4G was over populated by them.  He alongside some loyal soldiers stood his ground with most odds against him...  and NOW here he is, VICTORIOUS...

He also went alone against the mighty EA giant, where he single handly crapped on EA's effort towards the 2008 PS3 Madden version in an battle that spread throughout the interwebz becoming an instant legend of the F*CK EA Revolution....

He also is my son in Warhawk.

    Long Live Mad.

I saw that happen too, but the most drastic change in console preference, or so it seems, happened at about the time of the Warner move to Blu-Ray, more or less officially guaranteeing HD-DVD's demise. I don't think the Warner move was the definitive reason, the site just seemed to make it's most significant shift from favouring the 360, to favouring the PS3, at that time.

Yeah...that became huge.  It was so huge that even Gamespot itself posted a story about it, which in turn, helped in solidifying "social gaming aspect" of N4G.com.

And damn it, Whoooop, your post brought back more memories of the days when the Sony people were still regarded as underdogs in this site.

You too, Bill Gates.  We're the proud veterans of that era. Speaking of which, before **** came in to the scene, you were the most hated guy by the other camp.  You're basically a no-name now, lol!

Very true mac....we made a lot of enemies back in the day, but it's all in video game goodness and look at where everyone is today.  In the forums having a ball.  Or as chadwaarden would say.....Ballin'!!!

EA.....whew.  Dude that was scary for a while.  I had people emailing me telling me they were going to **** me up...they knew where I lived...I even had a battle online with that idiot Chris Kohler over at Wired who thought I was stalking him and threatened to have his press pass pulled.  He sic'd his lame ass corporate bots on me when I called him out on his own blog for not being at the 07E3 front and center like he said he was during KZII.  It was all good....he stated that KZII was not a winner, but then subsequently came back to say that LBP was..so what can I say????  It's been a loooooooooong road since 11|17|2006 and I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else.

There are just too many good people here on N4G to take make a list of.  You guys & gals are the best.
