Any Idea on the 2.40 update? Release date? - Jun.-20th-2008 17:43:19

Status: offline 		I hope its coming out before the end of june. I really, really want this update. Sony said you should see the update soon. Well I hope they don't mean after E3 or anything. Why cant they just release it? Its just an update! Not a huge epic game.

Status: offline 		Well since its sony and they do enjoy delaying things I predict 2.40 will come out anywhere from 2-12 months from now.

Whatever, they will release it when it’s ready. If it’s not ready this summer then it won’t be released.
 
I expect it to come at, or just after E3. But perhaps some unexpected bugs have popped up and they need some extra time to work on it.

(I’m still of the opinion this should have been in the PS3 since day 1)

Listening to Buckethead while playing games would be a great birthday present :) I haven't had a PS3 for very long, so I was wondering if Sony releases updates on Thursdays only. If so, it will probably be on June 26th (but it's just a guess). Whenever it comes out it will be...
1) Worth the wait
2)actually ready
3)released in the Summer
so it's all good ^_^
