I personally never ever ever get limited or special edition unless its a game i am really passionate about. In fact, in my lifetime i have only bought 2. MGS4 and GOW2. Basically as it stands R2 collectors edition is simply out of the question. lol

But still wondering if anyone will be paying the extra monies

Maybe if the packaging is lovely. I haven't seen it yet.

I doubt it thought. The game isn't a very worthy one.

It comes with a bonus DVD (filled with video commentary, a documentary and a video that details the Twisted History chronology), an exclusive multiplayer skin, a double sided art book and a chapter from "The Gathering Storm", the upcoming Resistance novel. Oh, and that's forgetting the five inch tall Chimera Hybrid w/ Bullseye... I'm definitely getting it, even if the game proves to be poor.

Extra stuff? Little nick nacks that do nothing other than give me more clutter? All for the price of 10 more dollars and possibly give the companies more reason to make games cost 70 bucks standard in due time..... yeah going to stick with no

Yea we both got suckered into Qore. lol. I do like getting beta access though even though its a week wait its more convenient than pre ordering for games too early

Yes, I will be getting the Collectors Edition for Resistance 2.

If there is a game that I'm REALLY anticipating, I always get the Collectors/Limited Edition version of a game.... I got the MGS4 Limited Edition, I got the GTA4 Special Edition, and I just pre-ordered the Collectors Edition version of Fallout 3 this weekend.

I hope that there is a Collectors Edition version for God of War 3 and Killzone 2 next year as well because I would get those too.
