I've been paying attention to this game for a while now but I still can't for sure say that I will buy it. The video's make it look fun as hell, but the graphics are pretty disappointing and I'm worried about the multiplayer not providing much longevity.

It's from Valve, so it is a lock to be a solid game and I would love a new zombie game but I'm afraid it may just slide to my rental list in the reviews slip into the mid-low 8 range.

But of course, if I can persuade 3 other friends to buy it first day it becomes an automatic buy.

Any one else have any interest in this game?

You know it looks fun Toughname but for some reason I'm not feeling it.If Valve however talks about HL2 Episode 3,I'm all ears

this game game sounds like it will be a ton of fun, and many of the previews have been very positive. But I'm gonna wait for the soon to be released demo and then make a judgement.

I am looking forward to it but I don't know when I will have time. Probably in the dead time after Killzone 2 releases.

Yea I am probably gonna check out Left 4 Dead after I am done with Resistance 2, COD WaW, and Gears of War 2.

im totally stoked for this game. everyone who has played it has raved about how much fun it is, how you always have to be on your toes and use teamwork to succeed. the AI Director will keep the replay value up, and the Boss Infected vs. Survivors mode should be great. on the Boss Infected side strategy will be stressed because of the weakness of them. im all for putting together a good strat with friends to take on great opponents. plus, the PC gaming community will make a ton of great maps and mod's to keep the game going.

and ive said it once and ill say it again, Game Play > Graphics. yes the Source Engine doesnt look like Crysis, but it holds up pretty damn good for being old, is constantly upgraded with new features, and runs silky smooth. its a Valve game, you can never go wrong with Valve's quality.

That may be true but I know I will be having fun with both games regardless. I am sure L4D will be fun but I just don't have the time or other friends who will play the game with me right now. I'll wait until next year to give it a spin.

I'll be checking it out eventually. There are just so many games I'm interested in this fall/winter. I'm knee deep in Fallout 3 right now, then Gears 2 next week. I'm not in a hurry.
