I just saw  the two "Making Of" documentaries of this game downloaded from the PSN.  I must say I'm impressed at the character development of the game, though I find the cutscene quality somewhat bad, especially the lip-synch.

What are your impressions of this game based on the trailers and the documentaries?

I'm definitely getting it.  BiA games seem to bring more to the genre instead of being just another WWII shooter (which is the feeling I get from World at War).  The tactics definitely give it more depth.

Totally agree with you, Dr. Pepper!!  I myself hate WWII FPS games for being "been there, done that".  What really sets BiA: HH is that brings tensions and the characters are people whose lives you care, in contrast to other WWII characters that have an almost "Rambo" feel into them.

However, the game's selling point for me is that I can easily connect with the characters, as I myself used to be in the Army.

Yeah, just everything seems a lot more in-depth and detailed in this game, from the characters to the gameplay.

I never saw scenes quite like this in Medal of Honor or CoD2/3 either:

I'm going to have to say NO! that game looks like it sucks dirt....  complete garbage... sorry

If there lucky I might rent it, but I don't even think that will be happening...

Game just looks awful IMO, COD 5 which I hate looks 5 times better, and not to mention their are too many really good games coming out in october to even waste time looking at this game... -to me anyway, that's how I feel about it..

I really, really liked all the previous games in the series, for the same reasons that macalatus and Dr. Pepper did, but this game looks like complete arse to me. It just doesn't look good at all.

Never played BiA b4 but this one looks kind of pedestrian. The reason I'm anticipating the next COD is because its set in the Pacific - never been done before. As a matter of fact I always felt that the battle in the pacific during WW2 was criminally overlooked.

Have you ever heard of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault or Medal of Honor: Rising Sun?

I'll totally agree with you on that one.  A little off topic but COD5 will be a little weird to be played on the PS3...if you know what I mean!

If they werent exaggerating when they said "we sniped someone and in slow motion his jaw came off" and "50 cal rips right through body parts sending arms flieng" and "body exploded when hit with grenade" then its a definite buy...
