The game comes out a week from this Tuesday, but if you pre-order you get a 3 day head start.

Not that I know of. I think it is totally new and is an MMO.

Definately not, it's a MMORPG that looks like it might out-do World of Warcraft. I know one thing... I'd rather play this than WoW and Warhammer combined.

Whoever gets this game first, please put the name of your server on so everyone else can be on the same server. N4G guild anyone?

I am already in an Age of Conan Clan/Guild/Whatever. I have never been in a pre-emptive guild before, it is a rather bizarre experience.

The beta is out now if you have Fileplanet. The game itself isn't all that great and beta's level cap is rather low which prevent you from testing anything other than the newbie areas. Due to its high system requirements the Conan will never contend with WoW, plus the PvP types who are attracted to Conan are holding out for Warhammer.

Yes, I have preordered the game and I can't wait to play it.
Conan is awesome. I read the comic books when I was a kid and watched all the movies.
I hope Red Sonja makes an appearance. The only drawback could be lag.
Every MMO game I've played has too much drag/lag except WOW,but I heard that Age of Conan will bury WOW.

I probably won't be getting it. I cannot see why this game is getting all the praise that its getting. To me, it doesn't even look that good. I'll try it out if their some kind of trial period for it but I don't know....

They are saying Age of Conan broke the record for open beta sign ups. Unfortunately I didn't think it would be a problem getting in... but I was wrong and now there's no room for me to play. I'll just wait until tuesday.

Just ordered a copy today.
Going to start on Dagon where my old WoW guild is.
I'm completely clueless about the game, but I miss my guild so much that I just had to get my hands on a copy :p

I'm also going to purchase AoC in a few weeks when I get home. I'm going to join a guild I used to group with all the time in Vanguard. They tend to be Hardcore MMOers and expect you to put so many hours a week in. I think their requirement was 20 or 30 hours a week. Which won't be hard for me if I end up liking the game.Once I find out the server I'll post it.
