This has crossed my mind time and time again. Yet, this particular rule is rarely ever enforced. Why is that? Are exceptions made for certain individual users and such? Just curious...
  • Aaron Greenberg
  • Bill Gates
  • Chad Warden
  • ChadxWarden
  • Condolezza Rice
  • hideo kojima
  • Kaz Hirai
  • Kazuo Hirai
  • Ken_Kutaragi
  • Mr Tretton
  • Reggie Fils- Aime
  • ReggieFilsAime
  • ...
I think you get the point.

No member receives special treatment despite popular belief.

The reason the aforementioned people can still post in the GZ is because... well, I can't give you a reason.

I'll let another mod chime in and see what they have to say, because I would just ban them all permanently and finally clean up the GZ like we're supposed to.

The biggest problem at the moment is that the option to change names was taken away. Now we don't want someone's account to be completely banned if they're willing to work with us. It's just difficult trying to get special rights given to people for short amount of time so they can change their names.

We are working on it. People who make brand new accounts with celeb names will be banned out right though.

though my opinions are viewed as too radical by some...

Not only are there celebrity names, which they happen to have a long time before you couldn't change your name, but for the past month I haven't seen so many f bombs here.  The language thing is getting overboard even with them being in the titles as well (this is mainly for the forums but still)

I don't think there is anything wrong with that kind of radical thinking Duke.

For one I've already banned Bill Gates from the gamer zone forever and I think most of the people you listed have have also been banned from the gamer zone. If you mean the whole site including the forums then I would not know that answer.

It's still an effective move.
