Signatures: 1) Go to My CP (in the top bar, looks like a lego)
2) Click the Signature/Comment tab.
3) For signatures, treat them as you would an image inserted into a post. You insert a picture choosing the little insert image button, and then paste the URL. The URL is the only real trick, your signature has to have a URL and cannot be uploaded from your computer.
4) You can also add a "Comment" to your sig; this has a character limit.
5) Be sure to save!
* Your signature should not exceed 500x200 px and 100kb and should not contain nudity or profanity
Avatars:
Forum avatars are larger than mainpage avatars, and do not automatically resize. Thus, they may give you a bit more trouble!
1) Go to My CP (in the top bar, looks like a lego)
2) Click the Avatar/Profile Picture tab
3) Upload your avatar here, be sure it meets the specs listed below*. Unlike sigs, avatars are uploaded, not link, so this shoudl be saved to your computer.
Tip: If you have an image that is 150x150 or less but you just can't get it to less than 50kb, save it as a gif and reduce the color spectrum.
* Avatars must be equal to or less than 150x150px, less than 50kb and should not contain nudity or profanity
The
Pics in Progress thread is helpful if you have a picture you want altered, or you need an avatar made.
Displaying your Trophy Card in Your Sig flip-it3
I've been getting a lot of PM's about how to display your trophy card in your sigs. So I decided to make a little tutorial.
Ok first off using the code www.us.playstation.com gives you when you sign in:
<a href="http://profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/visit/profiles/flip-it3"><img src="http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/flip-it3.png"
You only need those 2 address links within " ".
Then insert those links into:
[*link= insert first link here ][*image] post second link here [*/image][*/link]
Remove the '*' when your done to properly display your trophy card.
Hopes this helps.
Also regarding updating your trophy card, go to the playstation site and refresh it there. It takes a while before changes will apply. To refresh updated images on a site you are viewing press CTRL+F5 to refresh if this doesn't work just wait it will soon change.
