Who actually plans on buying Banjo 3 when it comes out ?.....it seems like it will be overshadowed by Gears 2 this holiday season

Everything will be overshadowed by Gears of War 2.

But the two games are entirely different genres so I doubt it will have much of an effect on Banjo's sales. I will not be buying it.

Wrath of the Lich King will overshadow the life out of Gears of War 2.

In what way? I only know what the hell Lich King is because I just saw a countdown on EB website. I've been real gaming since Sims Vacation.

So it is sales we're talking about?

I'm going to have to take your word for since I don't know anything about PC 'gaming'. But I would say quality and hype could be given to Gears. lol especially on N4G, the amount of praising/hating of this game specifically in the coming months will be fun to participate in.

Well, let's put it this way -- WOW is the most popular game on the planet right now, and it is gravely absurd IMO. Apparently Blizzard has hired some groups to aid in mass production and distribution just to make sure the quantities are sufficient. As for quality, well they're really incomparable IMO. I don't like MMOs, but I like shooters, so Gears wins.

I agree.....I don't think anything can outshadow a blizzard game release..
its a proven fact that their games are crack to most people....

I hope Anets GuildWars 2 will topple WoW...
