has anyone played Battlefield bad company and can give me an idea of gameplay?

thinking of buying it but haven't played the demo yet coz i'm currently at work lol - i will sort the demo tonight when i get home and make my mind up but just wanted to see what you lot had to say about it?

I enjoyed it because of the online, but lodes of people don't like this game go check out some reviews and play the demo.

while i kinda agree EA have done some pretty good games in the past like Skate, Burnout, and Medal of Honor - while they have had a few floors they have been enjoyable so i wont make battlefield a write off just coz EA did it!

well i thought it was pretty good, lets say enjoyable! but then the whole war genre of game is what i'm really into and i know there is quite a few who aren't - i'm guessing you are one that is not a fan of them - or does it just lay with EA being pants in your view?

Battlefield is really good. The problem with most online FPS is that you learn the level quickly. The verity is out. But Battlefield you can change the level. You can add new entry ways.
Gold-rush is deceptively interesting because you don't play over the same territory Again and again for 10 minutes. You gain it you lose it. Every new part of the map feels different from the previous. You can fight in the country, with open fields a trees and tanks, then end up in an industrial section later on.

Dogtag collecting is the best achievement, period.

I sure hope someone actually reads these post because I put some effort into it.

thats exactly what i needed to hear - cheers dude, come friday its mine!! you did put alot of effort into that and i'm now sold!!

its an awesome game, the 2 gametypes are fun to play and the levels are well made too...i also like how i can play unranked games, i remember BF MC on xbox it always tracked and i didnt like that, also the single player is pretty fun. nothing beats making your own doors too....i just got it the other day and it is just awesome

I have it for my PS3 and I think its great. Haven't touched the single player but the multiplayer is what Battlefield is about anyways. If you liked the demo, then you'll love the game, especially with the new conquest mode.

MGO isn't bad dude and it does pretty much everything right when it comes to implementing MGS4 concepts online.

But I agree that only fans really would appreciate it.

I don't like the fact that it takes extra time for bullets to register as hits.

I loved the singleplayer, I just think that they messed up bigtime with the mechanics of MGO...the beta was better IMO.

BF mc had 11 loads screens before you got to a game.

If you like FPS, you'll probably like Battlefield. It's a good game. The sound effects (particularly the guns) are great.
