Best & Worst E3 Line-up? - Jun.-12th-2008 17:40:43

In your opinion, which company has the best line-up for E3 2008? Who has the worst (Among big companies / publishers with many games)?

I have to go with Capcom:
They have 2 Bionic Commando (Double awesomness) which I'm highly anticipating (Specially the next-gen Bionic Commando sequel). Then they have 2 Street Fighters and like the Bionics, one is remake and the other is the next-gen sequel. Then there is Dark Void, from makers of Crimson Skies which is basically Gears of War with Jet packs, free flying and huge envoriments and platforming sections. There is also a little game called Resident Evil 5

Also, they have 2 unannounced projects that hopefully one of them is Dead Rising 2 which if indeed gets announced will instantly become my most anticipated game of 2009 (Dead Rising 1 is may fave game this gen so far).
EA is 2nd and MS and Sony are 3nd and 4rd IMO.

As for the worst, I have to go with Midway. This is Vegas and Wheelman looked really disappointing at Midway Gamer's day. MK vs DC is not a real Mortal Kombat. UT3 is already out on PC and finally, both Blitz 2 and TNA are sports games which I'm not really interested (Maybe a bit interested in Blitz 2 due to violence and the M rating.)
Game Party 2 for Wii... Seriously lol.

Where's Ubisoft? I was hoping to maybe see some more FarCry and EndWar footage. It would also be sweet if they were ready to show some Splinter Cell stuff, but I guess I will have to wait. :(

Ubisoft decided Ubidays would be a much better idea.

Anyway, the line-up I'm looking forward to is from Microsoft, seeing as how Fable 2 is my most anticipated game this year and footage from Too Human is always welcome (always enjoy seeing how customizable the characters are). Gears 2 should also be pretty big, but I'm not looking forward to that as much.

Well, Ubidays were indeed like Ubi's own E3 though they might still have some surprises at E3, AC2 or something like that. Plus I've heard that they'll show new POP's gameplay at E3.

Fable 2 is the reason I have MS as my 3rd best (Along with Banjo 3). I don't care about Gears 2 much.

Hopefully Peter M will show some of the really evil and nasty stuff that we can do in Fable 2 at E3.

It may sound wrong, but I thought it was freakin cool to chop off someones head in Fable and then kick it around.

But yeah I'm looking forward to seeing more of Fable 2.

Perhaps I can look forward to MK getting Live to play some co-op...?

That's absolutly good though my fave game with that is original Blood. There was even a playground where players could play football and other sports with heads. Chopping heads and kicking them is always fun (Fable, Blood, Postal 2...)

But I'm talking about the real nasty stuff, like slaughtering co-op friend's family and eating in front of a hungry family, giving a head of a child's mother to him/her as a birthday present... perfectly normal and fun stuff.
Plus, Peter promised some seriously unspeakable nasty and evil stuff that I'm definitly looking forward to

I don't know. I might only go online on PS3 when I get one. Still, I BADLY want to play Fable 2's co-op and it would be beyond awesome to play with you. Two people that enjoy kicking severed heads will definitly find a lot of interesting things to do in a free world like Fable 2's

I'm really looking forward to all companies, except Nintendo or any developer/publisher showing any game for the Wii. Nintendo just took a rout this gen that I just can't swallow. I had VERY HIGH expectations this generation of gaming since the beggining, and stunning/realistic visuals were biggest of them. I would never, ever buy a Wii and therefore I'm not exited about any Wii showings.

Now from MS, I want to see more Gears 2 footage, I would also like to see more of Alan Wake (even if it's a 1 minute video), maybe some new info on ME2 and Bioshock2.... and sadly I would've love to see new footage and details of the next Splinter Cell installment. Big fan of Fisher here.   I consider him as badass as snake. :)

From SONY I expect to see more from Heavy Rain to see if I can start my anticipation for that game again, I also would like to see more KZ2 footage, with maybe another environment and with the old animations and blood, I would REALLY love to hear something about Uncharted 2, I would like to see more footage of Motorstorm 2 too.   ummm let me see what else.

Maybe a GOW3 teaser, more info on Resistance2. Confirmation of 8 days and Getaway being paused, but still in development. FF info for the ones who are desperately waiting for the sequels.... In-game XMB... Home beta....   Don't care about LBP much....   WKC new footage...   lol

I know I'm missing some games, but I'm really exited about PS3 and SONY's presentation.... duh. So I guess SONY's Line-up would be the best in my book. :P
