Status: offline 		What are the best looking games currently out? I'd say Uncharted: drakes fortune, gears of war and (gasp!) Halo 3.

1.Drakes Yes the animation looks great during gameplay they really did a very nice job...

2. Gears of War for sure I agree with you on this... I have UTIII for the PS3 and it is not the same game at all... GeOW has way better atmosphere and I love the 3rd person perspective...

3. Ratchet and Clank... It is just AMAZING looking,,,,

1. Uncharted (no duh)
2. Gears of War ( I love the gloomy atmosphere)
3. Call of Duty 4

Oh I am just going by what the game look like when you are playing them....because you can't play a screen shot...lol

Status: online 		Halo looked great at moments...not all the time. And at above....Bioshock had the best atomosphere in any game ever. I havent played it in HD yet though...so im not so sure about the graphics.

anyway, I would also have to say Uncharted, Gears, Rathchet, COD4, Assasins Creed, GT5p

and Halo 3?? dude a couple of fake screenshots doesnt erase what we have seen in the game

Fake Screenshots....those are in game and real ( i could take that screenshot)...you should try halo 3 one day. And there WAAYYY better graphic moments in the game then the one he posted.

Status: offline 		Hahahaha, having just played through Halo 3 a day ago. The answer is no. With the amount of jaggies, frame drops, and just terrible texturing on some models. Just.....(FOR ME) it's not even the best looking game of last generation. So I won't argue it, it's just not. My opinion. It only had excellent lighting in the first level and a nice loading screen.

Best looking games this gen, 4 come to mind.

Drakes


Gran Turismo 5


Folklore (+1 point art direction)


Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction


Honorable Mention to 4 games up and coming

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots


Killzone 2


Alan Wake


Heavy Rain


I'd be as bold as to stick Resistance 2 in there, but someone will bite my head off.
