That speed racer movie looks so bad to me, I'm not even going to bother watching it.

Speed racer is just about the only cartoon I remember from my young childhood. Regardless of the reviews, I'm obligated to see the movie.

Having said that, I really hope it's not as bad as it seems.

So many shows i remember from my childhood. I remember this show with these troll looking dudes with purple hair and were muscular and played guitar. Think they were yellow as well. I remember gunmi bears and care bears and all that lame stuff. Sigh good times. Favourite kids show was by far Voltron force.

Back on topic. I had hope wachowski's could do something with this title...guess i was wrong. I'll still be watching it though...one way or the other

Speed Racer RULES. The film is definitly awesome. Most critics don't get and call it a simple video game but younger critics have said it all:

If the 8 year old child inside you is still alive, you'll LOVE this film. If not, I feel pity for you.
This film is from makers of the Matrix... Nuff said.

sorry man, i just cant get up for this one..... i was never a BIG fan of the series and this to me just looks like a last chance to snag some cash (not that i blame them) but i think for the movie to great and relevent it should have been out like a decade ago or so.... imo

i'll be watching it for sure.

transformers heavily deviated from it's original and became a big budget GM ad (damn you GM) but i still enjoyed it a lot.

I truly cannot take this man word on any movie having to do with a Comic Book or an anime...

He simply isnt into to that sort of thing(Which is understandable).

But Being a Speed Racer fan i think im goin to check this movie out anyway.. Maybe i can bring back some old memories... *Sigh*
