I've noticed when I play against top 100 ranked players in this game, they all use the same method of winning(most of the time) and since most of the tracks are custom made, it is not a glitch or anything like that. What it appears as tho they are all doing is maxing out the checkpoints(20 I believe), and waiting to get about 5-8 players in their rooms, then making a ridiculously long track where you have to visit the same points like 5 times, or even worse, 2 points - one on each side of the map - and going to each one 10 times. Since these races last from 10-20min(instead of the average 1.5 - 3min) people then drop out of the races leaving the people in the race to automatically get 1st place and points to go with it. Not only do they do this for the races, they also set it to 2-5 matches where you have to stay in or quit, meaning that you could have a 5 race set that could take 30min - 1hr. Most people, if not all, quit and that leaves the lone racer(the host of the match) with 5 straight 1st place finishes(lets say 8ppl began so 8 points for each race) and that person gets 40 points for everyone quitting a race. This makes racking up 1000 points a day a little easy for these guys. This is why I believe that Burnout Paradise's online leaderboards is a bit unfair. So has anyone else run into this problem?
