So me and my friend, were debating about which attachment is better, he says its better for body shots, I say that the RDS (red dot sight) is better because it is good for body and head shots and the sight doesn't sway unlike the ACOG. State which you guys use give a GOOD REASON.

I use, RDS, usually I finish a weapon challenge by the time i get it, around 50-100 kills later, so I never bother with ACOG.

i prefer the ACOG, and i use it cuz well i aim for the body and rack up them kills.
your friend must be pretty smart

Why aim for the body and rack up the kills when you can aim for the head and send them a statement FULL OF LEAD.

I'm horrible with the ACOG. It's a little too much zoom for me, and if I came in and out of it like I did with the RDS, I would get OWNED.

The ACOG Scope is rubbish to me. It takes away too much pressious time when I want to aim.

To me the ACOG is only good if you are shooting distance with a gun that has little or no recoil at all...(i.e M16, or M4) other than that I an't use it on anything...A prefer the silencer over both RDS and ACOG but I'd have to say RDS if I had to pick one

ACOG is worse than having no attachment. It sways around the whole map. Its horrible if someone is close-medium range, It only works okay from far away(But RDS does better far away than ACOG). RDS is good for any situation, if you see someone run up on you with a knife...BOOM! Headshot...You wont see that happen with ACOG

rubbish is not even the correct word to describe the ACOG, I am glad to hear I am not the only person to DEPISE it, RED DOT all the way, as stated before it sways and I don't even like it for the sniper rifles only good things about it are that you don't have to take a deep breath to snipe and that you don't HAVE to use it, but to each his own

acog is good for long distances but when i wanna kill fast its red dot

I use the ACOG on my M16 and that's about it. I use the Red Dot Sight or Silencer on my other weapons.

I get awesome accuracy from far away with the M16 & ACOG Scope, so that's why I use it. Personally, I think it is better than the Red Dot, though it depends on play style.

ACOG on an M16 is better then a sniper rifle. Red dot is next to useless on anything other then a LMG. Just learn the Iron sights.

On another note I got (What the?) challenge the other day.

ACOG is only good for medium to long range. I only suggest using it if you're good at shooting without using L1 (PS3, it uses the scope on a sniper, puts RDS right in front of your face for better accuracy, you know what I mean).
