I seem to have issues connecting to COD 4 Online. It can't be normal for it to sit at the "Downloading Game Settings" screen for three to four minutes before disconecting, especially when ALL my other online games run fine. WTF is the issue?

i know on my mother in laws ps3 its like that, she has FIOS, which claims to be fast but i think her connection is just slooooooooooow

If you're using a router try resetting it when the game is stuck on "downloading game setting" then reconnect to PSN and try again you might have to do it a couple of times before you can finally play.

Before I sold COD4 I had to do this like three time every time I wanted to play multi-player.
