The intec cables are a f*cking joke. I thought the recent storm took my audio on my xbox out... but when I went to pull out the cord, the plastic casing came out, but the entire insides stayed in my xbox audio/video port. What a POS. I'm about to bust out my old cord and see if the sound works normally on that (and hopefully it does), but I need my HD-goodness.

And no, i'm on the original, not the elite so don't recommend me HDMI cables please.

Rocketfish component cables would be a good option...they're made by Monster, and are a Best Buy store brand. I had a set until I bought my new HDTV and switched to HDMI, and they did a really good job. About $30 if I remember correctly.

Otherwise, most of the third-party cables are equal to or less than the 360 version...thought one of my friends swears by the Psyclone brand, but they're expensive.
