I remember a Leaked Screenshot From the DS...it was all japanese..although me and a friend managed to translate some text and the heroin's name..( but cant remember itXD)
but what i do remember is an Option in the Menu screen named "Wii".

No im a huge Castlevania FAN. especially the DS games.
But am i really the only one being overly hyped what the " Wii " option could be?

Is it a extra mode?
does this mean there is a castlevania game for the Wii?
does this mean you can play Co-up? or trade your stuff back and fort?

What do you guys think?

I am also a big Castlevania fan, and I agree that the good ones are on DS. The main reason being that they are still 2D. the 3D Castlevanias sucked in my opinion.

I remember reading a while back in an interview that there was a console version in the works. The console was undecided as of that time. The Castlevania producer said that it would most likely be Xbox 360 or Wii exclusive because Castlevania is most popular in the USA., and Wii and 360 have the bigger install base in the US. So yes, it could possibly be on Wii.

Curse of darkness, if you havent played that one try it.
And 2d>3d imo !!

I also remember an interview going by those lines. But the new DS game showed a Wii option....so it must be obvious( right?).
im really wondering what this option could be..

Also i hope there is a 2 player mode...that would be FREAKING awesome( not boss rush mode)

ALSO: Castlevania music ROCKS

Yeah it is highly probable that it would be on the Wii. The DS Castlevanias were all awesome but my favorite will always be Super Castlevania IV for SNES. The game blew my mind at the time with all of the rotating backgrounds and the fantastic music.

I remember one level was inside of a church and had stainedglass windows rotating in the background and skeletons would come bursting out. Everyone always claims that Symphony of the Night is the best but I prefer SC IV.

I don't know I really have enjoyed the DS versions thus far. I think they could do with another one on that

If they did a werid style 2D game on the Wii then I'd be all for it but I don't know about 3D.

Konami might just try and make a great 3D one just for spite seeing that everyone is saying it cannot be done. Anyway lets hurry up with the new one right!

SCIV is indeed awesome, although ive only seen my brother play it allot. XD but i do remember alot of the music.
Im still wondering how the developers made the Whip go down while holding the action button XD

It isnt that horrible, you just have to hang in there to actually like it. I actually loved Castlevania: Curse of darkness.
But if Konami makes a Castlevania in 2d for the Wii ill be freaking out. Its been a long time since a Console had a traditional 2D game like those from the past.
