Hey guys, One of my controllers have a button that sticks down a bit if u press it hard, or it comes back up slowly. I think my mum was eating toast while using my controller to read some news sites when she visited. Is it safe to open the controller and clean the buttons?

Is it a real pain?.... T_T

She's been banned from the controller. I went out and bought a wireless K&M so she could use that instead :/

Nothing wrong with opening it, but it can get tedious to put it back on....

Ohh and dude... No need to lie.  Just clear the area of all electronics before watching porn..

Someone got beer on my d-pad on my first PS3 controller. It was sticky for like 3 months, but it went away after a while. Maybe you could just wait it out. Make a point to click down on the analogue stick once in a while too.

An idiot spilled tea in mine, they're not that hard to take apart and put together really, then again I take **** apart all the time. I just went at it with QTips and alcohol and all was well with the cosmos.

Ok Thanks guys, I Will try the non-invasive techniques first, then if that fails to attain the results, I will proceed by scrubbing in with a iodine solution and go invasive!

Let you guys know how I go post op! (lol jokes)
