Could REACH be the HALO game that could outdo the first?

Don't get me wrong HALO 3 was awesome and the multiplayer is one of the best I've played but the single player did lack a bit and after Gears it didn't show the power of the 360. After seein the leaked pics (if real) the REACH, with the new engine, could be the kick that proves the 360 could match the PS3 for visuals and hopefully bring back the playability that made the first HALO so damn good.
What do you guys think?

Ithink it has a good chance of being a AAA game... I think the story will be better than 3 and a 100 times better than Halo 2 for the SP... The book the fall of Reach was awesome.... Matching the visuals of the ps3... I am not sure.. of that...I hope so.. it be great if it did...

yeah, for me it doesnt matter to much about the visuals as long as the game plays the way it should, we were just lucky Uncharted 1 nd 2 had great visuals nd played amazing...the only thing bothering me is could MS rush this out to compete for next year considering there isnt a gears 3..unless that gets announced early next year like Gears 2 did nd got released the same year as it was announced but thats highly unlikely considering there hasn't been ny rumours of that sort flying round the net

The first Halo sucked. All the weapons were unbalanced and it had no battle rifle.

Yeah Visuals is not high on my list when it comes to a game being awesome... I hate it when they rush games all publishers do it it does not matter hat system it is on... if it has Gameplay Controls Fun Factor Story it will be awesome... I am sure it will sale like hot cakes as well.... this is also bungie's last Halo game... so it will be what they want I am sure...

No... Won't happen... Speaking of Reach, when is the beta coming out? How do we(us who bought ODST) access it since it didn't come with a code and I don't see anything in ODST that allows us to access the beta?

Speaking of Reach, when is the beta coming out? How do we(us who bought ODST) access it since it didn't come with a code and I don't see anything in ODST that allows us to access the beta?
same way that the Halo 3 beta worked, an option will become available from ODST's menu to download the beta.

I hope Reach sets itself apart from the other Halo games by adding something brand new to the series. I heard it could be squad based; don't know if that's true but it would be welcomed.
