I was actually just curious if anyone else was interested in the Upcoming DeadPool movie, I'm not really sold on Ryan Renyolds as the Lead but maybe he will surprise me.

I personally am a huge DeadPool fan, If I had to pick I would say that he is by far my favorite superhero, and maybe the best hero that Marvel has, this is just my opinion obviously.

Ryan Reynolds did play the wisecracky retard badass well in Blade 3 (aside from that movie sucking ass), but I don't know. He'll be inside the mask and even when he's not his face SHOULD be messed up so we won't exactly care as long as he can play the role.

I partly agree. Ryan Reynolds has a strange face though.
I don't know why I have this feeling of Daredevil-bis.

Thats actually my main concern, is that it will end up as another Marvel B movie, and I feel that DeadPool deserves more than that.

It's true that he's not as well known as many of marvels more public Characters but i've just always found him to be the most interesting, and cool. The humor will play a big role in the movie, and Ryan does play the Smartass fairly well, I just think it will be interesting on how seriously he takes the role.

I've heard he is going to play DeadPool in the Wolverine movie so that should shed some light on how he would be in a Stand alone movie.

Yeah he is in the Wolverine movie, it's the whole "Weapon X" thing. As long as he doesn't take off the mask and it's like "Ryan Reynolds" then we'll be alright. I hope Marvel does the Deadpool movie. They did a bang up job with Iron Man, and while I prefer Ang Lee's Hulk to the new one, the 08 Hulk was still pretty good compared to most comic book movies.
