If or when EA decides to make another Def Jam Game what need to be done to improve this to it good days

Throw everything out and start again. They cannot take ANYTHING from icon

choose from a ton of songs do something like singstar with the music but use the make a record label song management system market the song make a video stuff like that
and fight other rap stars

Fighting System

trash the icon fight system
bring back the old def jam fighting systems
Add weapons pipes chairs etc...
Add 3 on 3 Gang Fights
Add 2 on 2 tag matches

Rap Stars need to be added
Lil Wayne
Jay-Z
Chamillionaire
Kanye West
all the NY rappers

Add R&b Stars

T-Pain
Akon
Ja Rule
R.Kelly

Divas

Trina
Rihanna
Alica Keys
Kesha Cole
Beyonce
and more

Make more use of the cash we make online/offline

Buy Items

clothes
shoes
hats
jewerly
new added songs
cars
apartments/houses
tattoos

Make your own rap video with your game character
upload your own instrumentals to the game it self and use in game recording system

Use the AKI engine. Nuff said. In fact, forget that. THQ needs to get AKI back on board and make a WWF No Mercy 2.

bring back the old defjam fight for new york fighting engine with tweaks and add counter and defense

i wouldn't mind if online lobby is open world with home like a club or something but that never happen SONY don't put there foot down with use of home on non exclusive games

I played one of those games in the ps2, forgot the name but it had that guy snoop in it,
is a decent game and wow ICON is TRASH, dont name it ICON sequel or it wont sell so much.

The one with snoop as the final boss would be fight for new york. That was the best one. ICON was such a step back it was incredible. They could have re released Fight for NY same gameplay same graphics and used teletubbies for fighters would have still been better than icon

-Change the whole song and environment thing, Keep the songs in the game but dont make it affect gameplay and trigger the environments.

-Take the game outta the south and bring it back to NY .Feels more hardcore when theres a big brawl going on outside the projects at night or in a train station, rather than in front of a house or on BET

-Make the game more realistic, Its dumb when you jab someone and they fly across the screen

-More fighting modes, Every man for himself (8 ppl), Tag Team Matches, 3 on 3, 4 on 4...Lol maybe even a freestyle mode...Press a sequence of buttons and the better you do it the better your rhymes are (Like GH) and if u miss it your rapper chokes and gets booed, 1 minute for each rappers turn and they go till one of them chokes
