I will be moving to the US from the UK soon and I was wondering if I can play my games here on a US system. I am aware that the US uses NTSC format and currently all my games are PAL.
My question is will my games work on NTSC or will I need to get a PAL system to play these on? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

i'm guessing you are talking about 360 games, so it depends on whether the title is region free or not, but its safe to say that most (if not all) of your games will not work on a US 360, i'd just sell off my UK stuff before moving to the US and you should be able to pick up NTSC versions in the US cheap when you take into considerations the exchange rate and the fact that Americans pay far less for software and hardware

I assumed as much. I'm only going there for about a year, so I don't really want to sell my UK 360. I think that I will just get a US system when I get there, as generally it's cheaper there and migrate my account to that for the duration. Maybe get a PS3 instead!
Getting a PS3 is a good idea. Its region free so you could play it back home and its alot cheaper in the US than in PAL land. You could also pick up the 80gb and a bunch of cheapo ps2 games whilst your there.
