Any news on that game? I heard it was demoed in Japan at some game show a while back but nothing since then. I think the hype should be a little bit higher then what it is(or lack thereof). At least because it was said by SE members that it won't be anywhere near as bad as Ehrgeiz. Plus if this does good on PSP, they gotta stick on PS3 maybe, which could be the closest thing we get to having our own Smash Bros. game, but they better not keep the trend of online only multiplayer... no fun to be had in that.

oh crazee shit, i didnt know there was a new FF game for psp to be released. got a link to it? its been so long since i last played a FF game, my last was FFX2. i tried FFXII but did not complete it...

I was reading somewhere that it is...well this is what IGN said: "Part of Square Enix's 20th Anniversary series, Final Fantasy: Dissidia is described as a "Dramatic Progressive Action" game. As one of various Final Fantasy characters, players square off against different opponents, gaining levels and strength as they go. They can also challange their friends, and customize their character through the use of different equipment."

for some reason, the game sometimes goes as Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and at other times Final Fantasy:Dissidia...don't know which to believe

That sounds awesome... but i'd really rather it come out on PS3, where I actually have the ability to play against more than the computer. I don't know anyone else with a PSP... so multiplayer is pretty much shot.

I really can't wait for this game as well. I loved Ehrgeiz even though it could, at times, be hokey.

I'd like to see a more final cast list though. Perhaps have Celes or Terra as a fighter...

I'll most likely import Dissidia. I'd get too impatient otherwise and since this is going to be a fighting game, it shouldn't be too text intensive.
