I do not care, as long as they don't bother me in any way shape or form, I don't mind,  thats the same for all people to me, I don't hate anyone unless they bother me.

I've got a feeling it could be a factor in this presidential election.  I still feel this issue is why kerry lost to bush, its funny how it comes up during a presidential election

As they are people too, I don't really see why they should be prohibited to being with.

I don't really support it not because i think its wrong but i simply think its unnecessary. First we have gay marriage and then when we have robots people will be marrying robots. Then lets not forget people will marry animals. Just leave it as marriage between a man and a woman. The purpose of marriage is to build a family anyway. Don't really see that working out with a gay couple

Is this like the thing people have against transsexual's having contact with their family? 'Cause the distress and embarassment to them socially is the same as a kid being adopted by a gay couple?

I don't see what all the big fuss is about... If they wanna marry, then let them marry. If they can't have kids for obvious reasons, then let them adopt. Surely by the time the kid is old enough, gay people won't have to face any kind of negativity, right? So there's no need to worry about social repercussions.

Anyway, on topic. I'm happy that they can get married. They deserve it as much as straight people do.

I'm against it, not because it sickens me but because it goes against procreation.  Also, I don't care for adoption by gay marriage because, not only could it scar the child emotionally, it could greatly affect whether or not the child is gay as well FURTHER going against procreation.

uh no... it pretty much brought all the conservatives out of the woodwork and into the voting booths.  It might not be a big of a deal now, but im remember a lot of people going apeshit over it 4 years ago.  Whether people like or not, the majority of americans are against it, its just the way it is.

I don't really get your statement. Homosexuals are not different heterosexuals, it's just their sexual preferences are different. By stating that allowing neutral marriages will get to a point where people marry robots is in my opinion stupid because you're basically drawing similarities that do not really make sense.

The only thing I have to disagree with in your statement, I doubt that there will ever be a point in mankind's history where Homosexuals Won't have to face negativity, even if most people eventually find it acceptable I can easily see there being groups like the KKK causing trouble for them in the future.

Yaa, we really need a lot more people on Earth.

/sarcasm.

Edit: Hellbringer I think homosexuality was widely accepted as normal around 2500-3000 years ago it could happen again. Not trying to be argumentative or anything because it's certainly possible that it will never happen again, but it happened once, so it's not impossible.

thats a retarded statement, kids don't have a greater chance of being gay, if they have gay parents. Thats not how it works.

I am all for Gay Marriage, they have just as much right to it as any other person, your sexual orientation does not define who you are as a person, and hence you should have the same rights as any other couple

I disagree. Some people seem to believe people are born gay...well i don't. Its as a result of the environment you are in. If you belong to a society where being gay is OK and you grew up in that society, then at the very least you would be bisexual. A child being raised by gay parents automatically makes the kid more likely to be gay because he has been raised to embrace it. Being gay like it or not is not natural because it doesn't lead to reproduction and natural growth needs to be the default. Placing a child in an unnatural environment is unfair.

Marriage is acceptable because i really don't care but adoption is a big no no

well isnt marriage a mostly religious occasion anyways.  If gay people want rights, want benefits, want spousal support, i say give it to them.
