Anyone got any new documentaries to watch?

The Other F Word looks pretty good, if you're into that kind of thing.

"U Mad?"

Just finished watching Headbanger's Journey and Global Metal, I highly suggest both to anyone whether you're a metalhead or not.

Rage has it, go watch Century Of The Self NOW. Then watch The Power Of Nightmares, then All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace (particularly poignant as it deals with social networking).

Just finished watching WWII In HD on Blu-Ray, probably the best World War 2 documentary series next to The World At War, watch that too... It's just been re-released on Blu-Ray after nearly 40 years after its first showing.

Power of nightmares really hit home when they talked about how the neo-conservatives tried to demonize clinton in the same way that they demonized the soviet, then i realized their doing the same thing to obama.

Another must watch, if only more people took the time to fully understand the history of things. Really ironic that America created their own enemy by refusing to cooperate with the soviets.

One of the few bodybuilders that I find inspirational, his way of thinking can be applied to any walk of life. Bigger fan of his ideology rather than his physique.

God Grew Tired of Us I love this one because part of it is filmed in my hometown and I have actually met Gabriel. The movie is about the Lost Boys of Sudan and what occurred after they were placed in America. Talk about amazing.

Power of Nightmares.... exactly what I was saying after the shootings.

Jon and Nut do bring up a good point. On the day of the Columbine High School murders, the USA bombed yet another country and one of the targets (doesn't matter if it was intended or not) was a primary school. The people in this country falsely believe that it is okay to retaliate against anyone who "wrongs" us, regardless of what that imagined wrong was. 9/11? The world stood behind us when we were attacked. Killing Osama was just. But invading Iraq? To what end? Our government and its media constantly deluge us with FEAR tactics. We should be the happiest people on the planet because we live in a technologically advanced society. Our homeless people are fat. Everything is AMAZING and no one is happy. We also work more than any other civilized country yet we don't get the same level of health care. Our health care system is a joke compared to the rest of the world. (sure there are amazing advances for those that can afford it.) And no, we work longer than people in Japan and China. This country is going down, and has been since WWII ended. One horrible generation (calling themselves the Greatest) put us on course to fall apart. And I am not even a conspiracy theorist, but all you have to do is open your eyes. Privatizing jails, social security, education...deregulation of corporations. This country is going down the tubes and it is because of the Democrats AND Republicans. They have been in power too long. /rant.

If you guys get a chance to see ESPN's 30 for 30 "Broke" It is very interesting

How does over 70% of millionaire athletes go broke once they leave the game?
