Actually, it looks like the complete opposite of Damage Control to me.  Looks like a display of confidence.

He's saying that everyone should come out now and say whether or not they are for or against Too Human, and if the general consensus is that it sucks post release then he's willing to admit to those that were "against" that he got "owned by GAF"....he wouldn't say that if he thought it sucked.  It's a little immature, but it's definitely not damage control.

Damage control would be if he was saying stuff like "I think people have over hyped the game" or "People should remember that we had various struggles in development while playing Too Human"

Actually, I think it's a pretty good idea. If Too Human turns out great, those haters will be labeled "Owned by Too Human" and if it fails, Dyack will become "Owned by GAF"!

It is rather fun and has nothing to do with Damage Control IMO. Wish more devs would do this.

I respect this guy.....

EDIT:lmao he got raped by the forums LOl *Note not my posts*

''Regardless of how good or bad the game is, acting like a ****ing unprofessional baby for some sort of internet toughguy comeuppance has caused me to lose any respect I might have had for Dyack.

He's that **** in the office that demands high-fives for doing his job and holds grudges when you won't engage him in his primordial victory flesh slaps. He cares more about what people think about him and how badass he can be perceived than he does maintaining any sort of professional aura about himself.

What a **** child.''

''Oh, it's pretty evident he's massively insecure about his work. It doesn't take balls to make a thread like this; it just takes a little emo-fit. Why else would he go to this length to validate himself and his work? He's turning Too Human into a referendum on his STREET CRED!

I'm actually not sure what's funnier, Dyack, or those taking this OH SO SERIAL.''

between Epic and Silicon Knights... I am disliking both companies right now...

We want games not Dirty laundry about a business deal gone bad...

This little stunt of being a big man calling people out and stuff is such ****.....

Shut the **** up if you game is that good let it get released and we can play it and see what it is like for ourselves...

As for the other side of things gamers saying a game is **** from videos and screen shots is week....

Let the game speak for it self... I think... and keep dirty laundry to yourself it is very unattractive...

Why not? He's simply taking confidence in what he believes in, he hears the scrutiny and criticisms from people on the forum, and he's trying to settle and middle ground of respect by making a challenge to the gamers, it's not trying to be mr.macho, it's trying garner respect/make a point...

I don't get why people took what he said so harsh, and the only people who did were ones who were flaming the game in the first place...

As a ps3 fanboy on n4g, I can maturely put my own baises aside and realize when people are just putting something down because of their own biases, or thinking their opinion reflects majority/taking things the wrong way...

But people have to understand as a developer, for him to take time out of his day and come on here and say that, they really listen and watch what's going on the internet and listen to feedback the speculators/haters give...

He's just standing his ground, and defending his probably 100's of hours of work and dedication input into his teams vision/goal with this game, this post shows me that he's allot more than just making money, or getting a quick buck, him and his team take pride in their game and are willing to go out strong and challenge away who believes anything but even when the extreme odds are against them...

I hope this game succeeds just so anyone who made baseless assumptions of the small slew of footage/screenshots can have their mouths shut....
