In before someone says the Notebook.

Also my favorite romantic movie is probably Legends of the Fall.

oh man the notebook

ummmm no real chick flicks i have watched. At least intentionally. Some stuff is quite sad though.

Though its probably good to watch alot of them and practice to pretend to cry to make it more believeable to your date or girl friend when ever you go to go see a movie or watch one somewhre else.

do we have brain credence from kotaku in this room^^^^^?

But anyways what do you mean by romantic? do you mean the notebook? or just something with romance in it?

I liked:
"The Notebook"
"Dirty Dancing" (the original)
"Cassanova"
"Sweet Home Alabama"

* When you live with a girl... it's kinda hard not to watch these movies, and you know what... a lot of them are good!

Dirty Dancing isnt that creepy movie with the 16 year of girl gets hit on and falls in love with her 30 year of dance teacher.

Garden State.

Good pick, that Zach Braff knows how to write a chick flick. Did you know that the soundtrack is essentially the mix he was listening to while he wrote, and he sent it in with the script?

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is another favorite.

(also: guys, don't try to cry during chick flicks, I don't even cry during them and you crying is just unnerving)

You're definitely off the hook, Snoop. If I were to cry, I don't think having my husband crying next to me would be very comforting. I'd be like, man up and comfort me you girly man!!

I always though Titanic was a classic romance film.  The ending was truly sad.  It was touching how Rose got to go Back to Jack Dawson after she died.

While I never full blown cry, I usually get very teary eyed during certain moments.

They could have been alive and happy together if the selfish wench had shared the raft!
