Out of the main series ( I , II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII) Which final fantasy game was your favourite and why?

Im going to be controversial and say FFX. I'll admit FFVII had an amazing story - but the world of FFX; and the characters were alot more believable. I also thought the battle system, and the music were amazing. plus yuna was hot.

My least favourite is without doubt FFXII. Final fantasy needs to be turn based imo; and FFXII has ruined the series for me tbh.

Agree completely, one of the reasons I loved it so much.

In fact, that game, to me personally, was probably the most overall epic game of the series. Most might disagree, but it's still my favourite.

Ah, the memories.

God, deciding my favourite FF is pretty darn hard to do, they all have their defining moments... I might have to play them through again to help me decide

since my favorite is excluded... XI...im newer to FF and have only played in depth X and XII and of those i like XII...although i plan on playing through 7, 8, and 9 this summer since i tracked each down to local stores.

Xenogears. ..I mean FFX, followed by VIII. XII could have won all if the story and character development didn't suck total ass, but it had the best battle system and the most believable world.

Its fine i meant about those people who's Final Fantasy was FFVII.

Did you try FFVI?

FF7. Because that was the first rpg I played and got me hooked into the FF series. But I also really like 6 and 10 also.
