So, what do we know now? It will be coming sometime from now to anywhere in the month of June. New footage/screens might arrive on Monday, in 3 days. Date and time added in the upper right hand corner. It will include in-game XMB and Trophy support. Icon above the game disc icon allows you to quit game (same icon currently in PS3's chat functionality). Selecting the game disc icon from the XMB while in-game will return you into the game, seamlessly so it seems. "Trophy Collection" Icon, when pressed displays all your games you have played, and the percentage of trophies you have gotten for the game on the left. Select a game from your collection to see all the trophies you may have for that specific title. Trophies seem to be categorized as gold, silver, bronze trophies etc, different ranks of trophies possibly.. Each trophy has a title (name) and an image representing the trophy, possible even a 3D image/icon. When in-game, you can press the PS button to directly go the XMB. When the XMB is accessed in-game, each column icon (ie game, video, photo) has to load up a bit when scrolling over them, but pretty fast (one or two seconds). All features/icons are represented with this in-game version of the XMB so it seems, but just like when pressing the PS button while watching a video or listening to music on the XMB, if you select another task, such as a settings or chat, the OS will ask you if you would like to quit your current task (this case the game) to access this feature. Exactly what is and what isn't accessible in-game is still unknown. Developers now have the ability to allow their games to have in-game music, basically an on or off option for their games. But trophies obviously have to be created by them, and put in the game. Such as achievements. So this is basically what we know, confirmed or unconfirmed.. Have something to add? POST! Discuss your excitement. :P OH yea, news post for it; http://n4g.com/gaming/News-151450.aspx /// http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=28071
