Well i left my PS3 running for about 4 hours yesterday to finish a WU. I try to run it as much as i can though. Im seriously lagging behind though and need to pickup the pace. I see we have alot of new members though.

I only turn off my PS3 about once a week, and its set up to run folding@home after being idle for 10min. I have so far contributed 58 WUs. Also as of this post the team has 298 WUs... and we rank 3462 out of 62806 total teams, pretty good I'd say.

how do you set up folding@home to run after being idle for 10 minutes? I would like to do that. Does anyone know if it stops downloading when running folding@home. I just got my PS3 recently and have joined the team.

To answer your question hongthay, yes if you run folding@home any downloads you have going from the PS Store will be paused.  Also, while in the Cross Media Bar highlight the folding@home icon and press triangle you will be given an option to auto-start, with three options from there; after 10, 20, or 30min of idle time.

As of this posting we have 318 WUs and rank 3309 of 63033... movin on up!

One weird thing I've noticed about the auto-start is that it seems to not work unless my tv is turned on.  Yes, weird, I know.  But whenever I am background downloading or just leaving the system idle and either switch to cable or cut the tv off, when I come back to the HDMI input, the folding program does its little launch thing.  I've never switched back and found the program mid-folding, regardless of how long the system's idle.  Cutting the tv off/switching once folding's started - no problem.
