So I'm new to the forums. I found the site while googling why Sony has yet to release the Uncharted trophies patch for Asia.

I'm an American living in Taiwan and I have the Special Edition MGS4 PS3.

It's nice that you were able to switch the Japanese version for the English/Chinese version.
I tried to get them to switch it but they absolutely refused, so I just kept my old 40Gig.

Where did you get that one? Under Taipei main station?

Maybe the Japanese consoles have something in the firmware that removes blood from Uncharted.
I also have a Japanese console, but the packaging is Chinese, so maybe there is different
software settings for the Chinese consoles.

My copy of MGS4 is also the Asian version. I want to kick myself. For NT50 more I could have gotten
the UK version. I hope there isn't any update shenanigans again.

A lot of people tell me that video is creepy. That's why I leave it on there. lol

@User555 - I did in fact go to the underground mall near the Main station right under Civic. I guess since I pre-ordered it and the guy/boss promised it would have English he had no choice but to give it to me. Now I need to upgrade it soon since I'm running out of space.

Also I would like to point out that I do in fact use Firefox as my browser.
