THIS IS F*CKIN AWESOME! OMG! I CAN'T BREATHE!  Ok, now that I'm calmed down  , I'm so excited! PD just confirmed that you will be able to create your own tracks or edit existing ones! This is what I mean when I say Perfection takes Patience; Patience is a Virtue. PD are Kings! IF there is a specific track that doesn't make it into the game. No prob, because now you can make it yourself. I even think I saw a glimpse of the Track editor in action in this video about the Mercedez SLS.

its too DEFINITIVE, perfection achieved Edit: there seems to be a bit of a credibility issue going on in the front page story, so I will wait for more sites to confirm it

Ok..that is pretty damn cool. It makes you wonder what sort of community features will be placed into the game. The option to create your own track can be very good for community based gameplay a la LittleBigPlanet. It's kind of sweet to think what other games in the future will take hold of the Play, Create, Share idea (or whatever way it goes). Create your own RPG? FPS? Fighter? Im sure there are titles like this out already (RPG maker for one), but this is still great news.

not to start a flame war, but how stupid do you think Turn 10 feel right now? definitive my big, round balls.. apparently there's more announcements like this to come as well

right ok, iam sorry if i am just being stupid but i have watched the video and where does it say track editor? it shows some dev working on the track but that doesnt mean there is going to be a track editor in the game, i am somewhat confused. :s can somebody point it out for me lol.

The OP was using that video as an example of PERHAPS what the level editor was like. He said it himself " I even think I saw a glimpse of the Track editor in action in this video about the Mercedez SLS."
The confirmation of the track editor was from this site: http://e4g.info/1886/gran-turismo-5-track-editor-confirmed-by-polyphony-digital.html It is safe however, to wait for more and more sites to comment on this further cementing this information as fact.

if you read the articles on this site, then you would have seen that PD confirmed their game GT5 will have a track editor. so this is a confirmed thing guys. I remember having an argument with some GTracer (dont remember his screen name to well) on these forums a couple months ago. He kept saying i was making stuff up about the gt5 track editor and calling me names. Apparently he was a forza fan. I guess i got the last laugh after all though

I don't think this will start a flamewar, seriously these devs are so much full of it they better be careful. I haven't played F3 yet but I do think they were not expecting this
