Even though I am a big fan of all Grand Theft Auto Games and a big supporter of the PS3, how come this one is so easy, missions are not really that hard, and the story line doesn't make sense until you reach the part where Dimitri dies at the end of the game. In GTA3, the cops were way faster than the ones in GTA4 and smarter. I would admit the graphics are better than the 360, but I still don't know why the gameplay is so easy.

I think it is because 1 the game has been made more realstic and since the cops don't have super cop cars that can reach any speed and avoid any obstical it is easier to get away, plus with the availability of armor pick ups and the easy to use targeting system it is made pretty easy.

That's a good reason and Rockstar thought they could pursuade many people into buying GTA4 more than it did when GTA3 came out. Probably it did but it is really easy to catch on from the very beginning that the game is easier than they thought.

I can agree with that... the game is a little too easy.... but I think that was to reach a bigger audience.... for better or worst.

As far as the cops, I guess that falls into the same game being too easy problem. It would have been cool if they made an Extreme setting for people who want the hard core, hard to beat version with an extreme story that would have been deeper then the original story. - For me GTA IV fell short of what could have been an amazing story and what could have added huge gameplay to the game... if it just went a little deeper...

But all in all it was a great Game.

It's a good game but it is not better than GTA3 except for the graphics and a few extras they added to it.

Its eaiser because all the last gen GTA games were too hard. I could never get through them without cheating.

Cops may be alower now but they are also much stronger. Its usually inevitable that you will die even with cheats at level 5 or 6.

Overall..I approve.

I beat all three on the PS2 without cheating and GTA4 as well.

But I agree, it was way too easy. I took off the auto targeting system and just had the free aim. I thought it was way better and at least some skill was required.
