I think downloads work great for smaller developers and franchises like Wayforward with Shantae or Nippon Ichi as they don't have to pay for packaging, printing and distribution and potentially they'll be more available as they'll never be out of stock. However for a big franchise it could have the opposite effect as many people aren't hooked up to the internet and many even though they are don't buy any content. Also advertising can be weird, your games may be more noticable at the beginning but in the long run the titles can fade into obscurity.

If you live in Canada but not Quebec and you plan on buying either Modern Warfare 2 or Assassin's Creed 2 but do not wish to spend $77, send me a PM. Come November 10th and depending on your luck, you might be able to get the game for a measly $45 which represents savings of $32. If you are a member or regularly visit Redflagdeals or CAG, then you know what I am talking about. Otherwise, send me a pm and if I ever log in, I will give you the details on how this can be done. I will not make it known to everyone since some people might think of it as a scam( which it is not) and be offended. Better be safe than sorry.

games are getting so expensive now, 2 games is almost $160, uncharted 2 is 70 but brutal legend and MAG are $80, why the huge increase in price? this is horrendous!

Korosuke Pandemic is closed? No Saboteur? The Saboteur will still be coming out, don't worry. EA put too much money into the game and it should've been finished by now, as well. On another note, I played and beat the God of War 3 demo. Other than the Icarus Tunnel thing, it was mostly boring. It's graphically impressive, both in terms of the design and the gore, but that's pretty much it. I liked jumping from Harpy to Harpy, too, but fighting fodder is mindnumbingly dull thanks to their complete inability to actually try hitting you. The three not-so-fodder monsters you fight weren't as disappointing, but they could've been a bit more versatile in their abilities. Dodging with the second analogue stick, however, is still as intuitive as ever.

Great. I think this game is the first open world game set in Paris. Hoping the game will be good and get a realistic tone more than merc.

So, I'm playing Dragon Age and I go to the camp. I meet a random guy who asks me if I can do a quest for me. Here comes the catch: you need to download the dlc to play this quest ( Warden's Keep). Thank you EA and Bioware for acting like money grubbing mongrels who feel like putting something that is integral to the overall game arc and telling me I have pay separately for it. Great idea.

It's not integral to the overall game arc. They just put that NPC there to remind people about the DLC. Don't get it and you won't be missing out on anything necessary to the storyline. You will just miss out on some Dragon Age history, a box to store stuff in, a pretty fun(yet short) quest line and a special talent for your main character.
