Hey, I am searching for a good quality gaming capture card witch is compatible with the PS3. Does anyone knows something about these capture cards? My budget is not that high, so a good capture card and not to expensive! Thanks for your help!

U plug the ps3 into ur computer throught w/e. From there on ur capture card which is installed in your computer, will capture u playing the ps3. So while ur playing, in the backround the program will be running and capturing w.e is on screen.

Last I checked, the new PS3 update only allows for screenshots. By using a Video Capture Card, you can actually record live anything you're doing on a TV. Some people used it to record anything shown on TV, before On Demand TV came out, but now it's mostly used to record gaming sessions. It's quite effective, but there's a lot of complicated steps involved just to find the right card... D: Of course you need a PC for it to work - where else are you going to save the recorded video?

WRONG A capture card is a physical device that allows you to interface a connection between the output device(PS3 and Xbox 360) and your Computer. Capture devices take the video from your PS3 and display it on your computer screen then give you the option to record the live video. Examples of gaming videos captured using capture cards and similar devices can be found everywhere actually any gaming video seen on a gaming website has been captured by one of these devices.

WRONG you plug in the yellow and white cord into the slot it gives you and red if you want to and then you plug the usb into computer and wahlah
